Would Shakespeare have recognized his “Midsummer Night’s Dream” in Irina Brook’s spirited and brilliant adaptation entitled “Waiting for the Dream”? I think there is no doubt that he would, even if the play has been somewhat shortened and the translator sometimes takes a few liberties.
